1. In 1000 words choose a poem (or poems) from Tony Hoagland's What Narcissism Means to Me and compare it to one of the poems that we read in the other three sections.

2. Do a close reading of the poems and compare and contrast how Hoagland and the other author address the internal [experiential] life and the external social life. Hoagland seems to be concerned with both of these, but is the author?

3. In the conclusion, discuss if you think the internal life necessarily relates to "sympathetic" and the external life relates to the "empathetic"
