The subordinating conjunction marks the beginning of a dependent clause, which can appear before the main clause (at the beginning of the sentence) or after the main clause (at the end of the sentence).The dependent clause at the beginning sentence should be set off with commas; the dependent clause at the end should not be set off with commas.
